This exhibition marks the start of a decade of Formula 1 in Qatar that began at Lusail International Circuit on 6-8 October 2023. This milestone event was a significant step on the Qatar’s journey both as host and leading competitor in international motor racing.

The Race Is On invites visitors to discover iconic objects from the history of F1 and rally racing and connect with the extraordinary stories they tell. Learn about pioneering drivers and world champions who have lit up the track with death-defying action. Explore a timeline of international motor racing in Qatar, from the first Qatar Motor Rally in 1974 to the triumphs of Qatari drivers on the global rally scene, and relive the intensity of famous races from seven decades of thrilling competition.

The Qatar E-Sports Federation and the Silverstone Museum are exhibition partners.
