This unique installation features Zidane: A 21st Century Portrait (2006), a 90-minute film directed by Douglas Gordan & Philippe Parreno, screening throughout museum opening hours from February 1 to August 1, 2024.

The film offers a real-time glimpse into the world of French football icon Zinédine Zidane, focusing on the intense Spanish La Liga match between Real Madrid and Villareal at the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium in Madrid on April 23, 2005. Through the lens of the football superstar, viewers are invited to relive unforgeable moments of this match.

Crafted from footage captured by seventeen synchronised cameras placed around the stadium, the film provides a dynamic portrayal of Zidane from various perspectives, both up close and from afar.
