World Children's Day – first established under the moniker Universal Children’s Day – is celebrated on the anniversary of the United Nations General Assembly’s adoption of the Declaration of the Rights of the Child and the Convention on the Rights of the Child. It is a day to promote universal brotherhood and understanding among children, celebrated in different countries.
