Hosted annually by QOSM, the 3-2-1 Cultural Olympiad brings together schools and students from across the country to creatively explore the values of excellence, friendship, respect, courage, determination, inspiration, and equality — values that lie at the heart of Olympism.
Join us in exploring the public display of these works and cast your vote for the ones that impact you the most.
About the Programme
The 3-2-1 Cultural Olympiad is a three-part initiative designed to engage young people in understanding and applying the values of Olympism beyond sport — in their schools, communities, and daily lives.
Part One: Museum Inspiration
Students visit the museum to discover Olympic and Paralympic stories, objects, and exhibits that resonate with them.
Part Two: School-Based Art Creation
Back at school, students translate their chosen stories and values into original artworks. These pieces can reflect traditional artistic styles or showcase the students’ own creative expressions.
Part Three: Expo at QOSM
A selection of student artworks is displayed in a public expo at QOSM. This 3-2-1 Cultural Olympiad Expo offers visitors the opportunity to view, reflect on, and vote for their favourite student pieces.
More Than an Art Exhibition
The Olympiad serves as a powerful bridge between sport, education, and culture, giving young people who may not usually engage with art a meaningful reason to create. It enriches schools’ creative curriculum and gives students the opportunity to exhibit their work in a national museum — an experience that inspires pride, connection, and purpose.
